50th Reunion Lunch

The servery at the Sennocke Centre was filled to capacity as forty-five OS from the classes of 1959 and 1960 and their wives returned to the school to celebrate 50 years since leaving.  A warm welcome was given by Mike Bolton followed by a spontaneous reply from Chris Birch.  Lunch was a noisy affair thoroughly enjoyed by all, with the air full of reminiscences and stories of life at school at the end of the 1950s.  After lunch a tour of the school provided an opportunity to revisit familiar locations and also to see the changes that have been made since their days at the school. By the time the group reached Manor House many had fallen by the wayside but others pressed forward to the boarding houses where the Matrons of Park Grange and Johnsons were incrediby welcoming.  It was a wonderful day.
